Neon — Hybrid Power and Stability
The Neon Hybrid is the heaviest of the three at 8.07 oz with the highest TW (6.89) — a planted, stable platform that excels at driving and overhead power shots. The hybrid shape balances reach and forgiveness, and that TW keeps the face stable on wide contacts.
Sophon vs. Phoenix — Elongated Comparison
The Sophon (SW 117.03, TW 6.11) and Phoenix (SW 116.44, TW 6.04) are near-twins spec-wise. The Sophon carries a tiny bit more swing weight for slightly more punch; the Phoenix is marginally lighter and quicker. Both are elongated power paddles with very low twist weights for excellent off-center stability. The difference in play is subtle — pick the Sophon for marginally more drive power, the Phoenix for a touch more hand speed.
On-Court Performance
All three Warping Point paddles share a common trait: they hit hard. Drives from the baseline carry genuine pace and penetration. The 16mm cores keep balls in the court on aggressive shots, and spin generation is competitive. Warping Point's reputation for power is earned — these paddles deliver the goods in live play and on the drill machine.
