On-Court Performance
The Tornazo's combination of SW 114.06 and TW 5.78 creates a profile that is nimble, responsive, and surprisingly forgiving for an elongated shape. The paddle hits hard — drives have excellent penetration — but the 16mm core prevents that stiffness or harshness that plagues some power-oriented elongated paddles. The face texture generates solid spin, and touch shots feel connected and intentional. Comparing it to the Inferno: the Tornazo feels slightly more lively off the face with a touch more power, while the Inferno is a bit more planted. Both are excellent; which is better depends on whether you want more pop or more control.
Who Should Buy the Tornazo?
- Power-first elongated players who don't want a stiff, harsh feel
- Luzz Inferno owners curious about a more explosive alternative
- Players who want hard-hitting performance without arm fatigue
- Anyone who wants a premium elongated experience under $140
