Methodology
How we tested the Pickle Poppers Pop N Treasure
Every paddle on this site goes through the same five-step protocol — lab measurement first, then structured on-court drills with a partner. No shortcuts, no guessing, no relying on the brand's spec sheet.
- Lab-measured specs. Static weight, swing weight, and twist weight measured on calibrated equipment — not pulled from the brand's claim sheet.
- 10-minute break-in. Drives, dinks, drops, and resets to let the face settle in before any verdict is recorded.
- Baseline power & spin. Drives, topspin patterns, and serves with a drilling partner to evaluate raw power and ball pocketing.
- Kitchen touch & control. Dinking, third-shot drops, and resets to evaluate dwell time, plushness, and mishit forgiveness.
- Transition firepower. Mid-court exchanges and hand-speed battles where shape and twist weight separate the great from the average.

Elongated vs. Widebody — Which One to Get?
The Elongated Pop N Treasure (SW 114.80, TW 5.98) is the reach-and-rip choice. Its lower twist weight keeps mishits manageable while the extended face gives you extra inches on wide balls and at the baseline. The Widebody (SW 118.15, TW 7.23) is heavier through the swing and delivers a more planted feel with a wider forgiving zone — perfect for players who want to drive every third shot with authority and don't mind a slightly heavier swing.
On-Court Performance
Both versions of the Pop N Treasure live up to the 'great power paddle' billing. Drives come off crisp and flat, and the durable grit surface generates enough topspin to keep hard shots in the court. The 16mm core provides a satisfying dwell that prevents the paddle from feeling like a trampoline — you stay in control even when swinging big. Resets were solid with both shapes, though the elongated's lower swing weight makes it slightly more responsive in fast hands exchanges.
Who Should Buy the Pop N Treasure?
- Power-first players looking for value under $150
- Baseline drivers who want pace with some spin on the ball
- Players upgrading from a beginner paddle for the first time
- Elongated fans wanting reach → choose the Elongated
- Stability seekers who want a heavy, forgiving face → choose the Widebody
Verdict
The Pop N Treasure is a legitimately great power paddle for under $150. Both shapes deliver, so let your playing style decide which geometry fits you. Use code PLAYBOOK for 15% off either version.
